• Site(s) of infarct in the heart often correlates with the leads where abnormal ECG tracing (e.g. ST elevation, pathologic Q wave) is found.

V1-2 = septal MI
V3-4 = mid-anterior MI
V1-6 = anterior MI
II, III, aVF = inferior MI
